In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
An agreement that all parties should work toward drafting a series of regulations, with a set timeline, to be adopted by all stakeholders. This should include a plan to educate teaching communities members on how to navigate classrooms and AI.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI

As an educator, I have seen first-hand the impact social media has had on my students. A lot of the curriculum around social media safety was reactive. I want to empower students and their parents in understanding what AI is and how they can also be a part of the evolution of AI.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
The obvious effect is th use of ChatGPT in the classroom. This is the tip of the iceberg. Students are using this technology while parents and teachers don't even know how it works. As AI evolves and students have more access, parents and teachers will fall further behind the curve.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
While I don't always find cancel culture helpful, I think any major AI developer who doesn't engage in the international cooperation should be "outed" to the global online community.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
I think being intentional in finding a diverse group of people to be key. This includes the diversity in cultural, gender, religion, etc.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
All communities outside of the affluent, white male group.
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
