In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
A call to review the incentives behind the development of AI specifically to reduce the global arms race that could lead AI to being a destructive force instead of a force for good.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight

Safety and AI alignment are at the forefront of my concerns, but the social impact on the youth of the world cannot be overlooked. Transparency and accountability is a tool for achieving the other goals.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
There is no current governance, so any transparency and restraint are only by the grace of the global companies that are driven by profits and the need to increase their models reach.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
We need to educate governing bodies across the globe and come to a consensus about how to regulate this emerging technology. Similar to what happened with nuclear technology.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
The center for humane technology, the algorithmic justice league and The AI Doc (film) are great resources and initiatives.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
This form is a good start. The UN is uniquely poised to begin the conversations for global leaders.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
There is a strong digital divide, anyone with limited access to the internet is severely underrepresented, and yet will be impacted by the accelerating pace of change.
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
The AI Doc film could be a catalyst for change. Your undivided attention (podcast) can allow for a level set as members discuss AI.
Please share examples of policies, practices, platforms, or approaches that promote effective AI governance or offer concrete solutions to addressing its challenges.
