There are many frameworks and policies, but a UN declaration on AI ethics and human rights is highly required to build the foundation for the rest of the world. Similarly, on integration and digital identity, ITU and others are trying to define common standards that must be pushed to have a common set of rules to guide nd ignite AI innovation

How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
EU and Switzerland are trying to fulfill their gaps, but global guidelines would accelerate this, avoiding also other regions to create them from zero and with areas potentially not properly covered
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
Countries must decide on the organizations and specific areas. Similar to the SDGs, a very useful outcome would be to have some clear directions and workplans for AI governance
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?

How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
First offline round of topics to discuss and identification of stakeholders, with geographical, areas of knowledge, and public and private representation
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
ITU, Astai Forum, individual experts with broad knowledge from different perspectives that could connect the points
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
Create a group of independent people that oversight the different groups outside of the traditional governance, to obtain a reality check and provide a more trustable response from the future actors that will need to implement the outcomes
Please share examples of policies, practices, platforms, or approaches that promote effective AI governance or offer concrete solutions to addressing its challenges.
What I have seen very useful first hand is that the governance definition includes people with less expert specific knowledge but people that has performed different roles in different companies, sectors and areas of expertise, who can connect properly all the dots. This would exclude pure academics and people with experience in only one area, but would provide more realistic and effective recommendations and policies
