In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
In my opinion, the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance would succeed if it delivered three concrete, measurable outcomes: 1. Participants should agree on shared technical standards for training models and commit to transparent, reproducible safety testing protocols. This framework must explicitly protect open research and innovation. 2 Inclusive, evidence-driven participation with follow-through: The dialogue must include not only governments and NGOs but also whole of society, to ensure every voice is on equal footing. 3 A public commitment to prioritize understanding over control: The outcome document should affirm that AI governance's ultimate goal is accelerating humanity's ability to understand the universe. These steps would transform the event from diplomatic theater into a genuine foundation for responsible, rapid AI advancement. Anything less—platitudes without accountability or innovation-killing rules—would mark it as a missed opportunity.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?

AI capacity is the single most important factor. When people have knowledge and skills the rest will follow. The next step is to promote open-source, open data and open AI models.This has potential to enhance capacity and allow adoption at scale. Next is interoperability which can enable further adoption at scale and ensure AI is universal at the same time protecting local cultures and sovereignty. Last adoption of AI depends of trust. This is built by ensuring AI safe, secure and trustworthy.
In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.

In my opinion, if the priorities I listed above are advanced small nations like Lesotho will be protected and ensure they have equal access to AI tools.

AI for Good is a good platform that AI Dialogue can build on. In my opinion there is no need for other initiatives
