Laws in respective countries have developed time because active legislation and dialogue that holds practical and serves the People. AI is a new wave and whilst discussing governance and policy we should have in mind the tenets that the principal laws protect such as human rights, freedom of speech, equality, environment safety amongst others. I want to believe that our laws have stood the test of time and this dialogue should harmonize while actively focusing on African countries respectfully. Different countries are adopting and actively having this dialogue and how it will be introduced and incorporated will guide implementation at all levels.

• Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
• Protection and promotion of human rights
• Interoperability of governance approaches

AI is being used and accessible by just anyone in schools, homes, work places. We have seen aspects of deepfakes when it comes to law (evidence presented) for instance in South Africa Africans are victimized by this, students complaining that whereas they have not used AI to do their work, their professors do not believe them. Most face aspects of Hallucinations and little to no truth, AI models doing creative work like music and designs Some AI models when these materials are run on the system they can be flagged as AI because of AI coded words. Products manufactured by AI and the impact on the environment. So, regulations and limit on the AI models being built needs to be put in place It goes without saying that AI is a well appreciated technology but the question is do all professions need or thrive off it. Is it going to replace humans.

Come up with a well researched and all round treaties putting limits and accessible because more than anything if it is not addressed countries are likely to see a rise in disputes and violence.
