In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?

A declaration of world wide cooperation from AI companies, governments & other agencies to insure the safety & well-being of children & other vulnerable groups from technology more advanced than anything that's come before.

From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?

  • Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
  • Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
  • Protection and promotion of human rights
  • Open-source software, open data and open AI models

Please briefly explain your selection.

All of the above choices reflect a basic human right to know the where, why, etc of this technology & it's impact on society short & long term.

In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.

I'm sure there are plenty of other considerations.

How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.

The challenges with the government/private sector being the primary drivers of this tech are largely unknown. Not knowing the correct questions & who to ask & who to trust.

What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?

Unknown considering the information is controlled by those in control of it.

What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?

No idea.

How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.

They can promote as much as possible input from the communities they serve.

Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?

No idea.

What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?

Anything public facing.

Please share examples of policies, practices, platforms, or approaches that promote effective AI governance or offer concrete solutions to addressing its challenges.

There are no solutions only compromises. Too many competing interests to solve a world wide issue.
