In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
Striking the right balance between encouraging beneficial innovation and fostering the responsible development and deployment of AI#.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI

The deployment of AI is likely to change society at least as much as deployment of the Internet, and the decisions taken in the next 5-10 years may be foundational.
In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.

1. The role of investors in encouraging responsible behaviour 2. The risks arising from the Unethical Optimization Principle (see RSOS paper) 3. The dangers of AI monocultures (see eg arxiv.org/2604.16432)
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
Finding the right balance between innovation, safety and responsible behaviour. The AISI is a useful start, but this is very difficult, and not helped by having a distracted government.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
Ideally it would bring together the innovators, governance, investors and civil society in a constructive way.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
Advancing the responsible involvement of Investors in this process would be helpful, though not without difficulty.
