In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
I believe that this global dialogue on AI will bring consensus and cooperation among countries to use AI safely and responsibly. I also believe that this dialogue will produce strong AI governance framework for the maximization of AI's benefits while reducing its risks.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Protection and promotion of human rights
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
Please briefly explain your selection.
In my opinion, the first priority should be making sure that we are building safe, secure and trustworthy AI. Unless we are in danger since we don't know what AI will result in the future if we ignore the safety and security side of AI. In addition to this, we need to have trustworthy AI tools so that humanity will be protected.
In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.

I think, AI's role for digital colonialism would be an important area that needs attention as well.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
The most important challenges include privacy of the people are not assured, lack of awareness regarding to how AI works internally, AI tools being voulnarab to ciber attacks, existence of biases in AI technologies and etc.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
By bringing scholars and government officials from different countries across the world, it creates an opportunity to discuss how they can cooperate to create safe use of AI. In addition, everyone in the dialogue will have a chance to share their insights about AI from their experiences.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
I think, there are some initiatives such as not to build AI that is beyond the control of human beings. There are also initiatives of having AI governance like the EU AI Act that can minimize the harms of AI. Accordingly, this dialogue can further strengthen these initiatives in order to create a safe but comfortable world. Having AI governance that can help countries to build AI intensively but safely is important and this dialogue will create that opportunity.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
I think, it would be good you can give a chance to different people from different countries and institutions as well different cultural backgrounds so that it is possible to get different but important insights based on the experiences they have.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
In my opinion, some third world countries such as Africans are underrepresented. Giving them a chance to reflect on AI in such kinds of dialogue will help them.
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
I think, face-to-face as well as online engagement formats are good.
