In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
We need a moratorium on the construction of data centers, and we need to place serious restrictions on the use of Ai, or even pause Ai development entirely, at least until we can find a way to regulate its use and ensure a livable environment on this planet (for humans and other biological organisms, which should always take precedent over the needs of corporations & their technologies). I can hardly trust anything I see online anymore, which is also a problem when that is the main source of information in this digital age.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
- Protection and promotion of human rights
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight

We only know that Ai will be disruptive (to jobs, markets, interactions online, deep-fakes, hacking, etc) and we have no idea exactly how bad it will be. Some estimates say it could bring about mass extinction. This is to be avoided at all costs! Human artwork & music isn't even safe from the Ai tools that were supposedly designed to reduce drudge-work & allow us more room to be creative. Is asking Ai to compose a song for you or draw a picture to your specifications TRULY an example of creativity? I prefer human-made artwork & writing, and everything else should be CLEARLY MARKED as Ai-made.
In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.

Ai poses a threat to life on planet Earth in future years, while inhibiting the enjoyment of that life in the present day (Ai slop taking over the internet, along with bots outnumbering humans on social media platforms, and increasing security risks with Ai agents that are capable of editing their own code)
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
I am in California USA, a hotbed for Ai research & development. Waymo cars (robotaxis) are already taking over our streets (& we never got to vote on this). I was also told to use Ai to cut corners in my work (I write articles about musical instruments on our company blog), however I refused to do so. I managed to retain my job, but not everyone who refuses to use Ai is able to stay employed. We should be protected from being fired on these grounds, since using Ai goes against the core values of anyone that values human creativity (and abhors plagiarism on principle). Rights for humans, not for machines!
