In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
We need to make sure that the impact of AI on information integrity is seriously discussed and considered during the dialogue. AI plays an increasing role in how information is produced, shared and accessed shaping everything from politics, culture and identities. A clear statement on how AI systems should respect the right to reliable, pluralistic and independent information is critical.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Protection and promotion of human rights
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI

These priorities are interconnected and reflect some of the priorities in our own work and recommendations.

Information integrity is now a fairly well shaped concept, also included in the Global Digital Compact. It would deserve its own track.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
AI is affecting elections, access to reliable information and weakens media sustainability at a pace never seen before. Democracy is at stake.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
AI Dialogue should gather an connect the different already existing initiatives happening around the world and across different international organizations.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
One of them could be the Partnership for Information and Democracy's workstream to safeguard access to reliable information in the age of AI co-chaired by Ukraine and Luxembourg.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
Panels are always a good thing but concrete working sessions would be even more efficient.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
We need more journalists and editors in the room.
