In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
In my opinion, the success of the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance would be reflected in establishing clear and enforceable international frameworks that guide the responsible use of artificial intelligence. One of the most critical outcomes should be the development of specific regulations addressing the use of AI by children and adolescents, ensuring their safety, protecting them from harmful content, and promoting healthy digital engagement. Equally important is the protection of intellectual property rights in the age of AI, where content can be easily generated, modified, and redistributed. Strong policies must be introduced to safeguard creators' rights and prevent misuse. In addition, effective measures should be agreed upon to combat digital exploitation and blackmail, which are emerging risks associated with advanced AI tools. Another key outcome would be the establishment of clear strategies for integrating AI within the public sector. Governments need structured frameworks and practical mechanisms to adopt AI in a way that enhances efficiency, transparency, and service delivery, while maintaining accountability and public trust. Overall, a successful dialogue should result in actionable commitments, international cooperation, and a shared vision that balances innovation with ethical responsibility and societal protection.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight
- Protection and promotion of human rights
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
Please briefly explain your selection.

My priorities center on safeguarding people while ensuring responsible AI adoption. Emphasizing protection of human rights is essential, particularly to protect children and adolescents from misuse, exploitation, and privacy violations. Focusing on safe, secure and trustworthy AI supports the urgent need for clear and enforceable regulations that reduce risks and guide responsible deployment. At the same time, transparency, accountability, and human oversight are critical to ensure that AI systems remain controllable, traceable, and aligned with human judgment-especially in government use. Finally, addressing the broader social, ethical, and technical implications of AI is key to managing challenges such as intellectual property protection and the societal impact of these technologies. Together, these priorities reflect a balanced approach: enabling innovation while protecting individuals and strengthening governance.
In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.
No
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
In my country, AI adoption is advancing through initiatives such as developing a sovereign large language model, forming AI teams within government institutions, and introducing a national AI ethics charter. However, governance gaps remain, particularly in establishing comprehensive regulations for data governance, intellectual property, and the safe use of AI—especially for vulnerable groups. There is also a need to strengthen transparency, accountability, and oversight mechanisms. At the same time, this stage offers strong opportunities to build flexible, forward-looking governance frameworks aligned with international standards. The existing ethics charter provides a solid foundation to guide responsible AI use and enhance public sector innovation.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
The AI Dialogue can foster trust, coordination, and collective action to ensure that AI is developed and used in a safe, ethical, and beneficial manner for all.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
strengthening international cooperation by providing a platform for inclusive and constructive exchange among countries. It can help align perspectives, share best practices, and promote common principles for responsible AI governance.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
A dialogue is especially important for supporting countries at different stages of AI adoption, enabling knowledge transfer, capacity-building, and collaboration in addressing shared challenges. It can also contribute to developing balanced approaches that respect national priorities while encouraging global consistency.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
Emphasizing protection of human rights
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
reliable deployment of AI technologies across sectors.
Please share examples of policies, practices, platforms, or approaches that promote effective AI governance or offer concrete solutions to addressing its challenges.
