In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
Governance is not merely a framework or a cheat sheet. It is the equivalent of people being allowed to do as they please with no rules. It's imperative for Governance advocates to understand technology through and through. We need more dialogue on this in every sector.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight
- Open-source software, open data and open AI models
- Interoperability of governance approaches
- Protection and promotion of human rights
Please briefly explain your selection.
Anyone involved in policy making and governance for AI must understand the types of AI available including open source and closed source AI and what the implications of each are. How to apply governance practically is imperative.

I think practical AI implementation of Governance to AI should be an overarching imperative that results in success in the thematic areas proposed.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
They affect everyone globally. Jobs are scarce and being overtaken by elaborate scams. It is a fee for all for those who want to commit crime, like a lawless society at rampage. There are currently now advancements or laws that I believe to be intersecting at practical implementation- not even in the legal field itself.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
I think it can have a massive effect- by making aware to others the real challenges and real issues of AI harm and how AI can be managed and used in a great way to help humanity.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
Ethical AI Alliance is a great one. They focus on AI harms at large.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
More technical stakeholders like myself are required to be able to explain binary to those who are not technical. It takes a certain type of person to be able to do that and not all technical people are capable of it.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
Again, software developers, IT professionals. Let's hear what they have to say. Because in AI Red Teaming they are also needed.
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
interviews would be great! Maybe AI governance professionals with technical Individuals or those who are aware and competent in both.
