In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
Establish new, agreed-upon guidelines on emerging AI governance trends, focusing on new regulatory trends.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI
- Protection and promotion of human rights
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight

AI needs an enabling regulatory framework that promotes its development, but within a controlled context that protects rights and includes human oversight. AI must be more transparent, and the issue of AI accountability and the responsibilities behind it needs to be addressed.
In your opinion, are there any cross-cutting or emerging issues not captured by the listed themes above? If so, please explain.

Training and adoption by parliaments around the world
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
Without these enabling frameworks and without addressing these issues, AI will be confined and the country resigned to being a user and consumer of foreign technology.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
If the dialogue is merely conversational, it only serves to sign unenforceable documents; these types of events or meetings are futile efforts and only serve a lobby of people who feed their egos and personal interests.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
