In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
Having regulations.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- AI capacity-building
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- Transparency, accountability, and human oversight
- Protection and promotion of human rights

Africa is not at per with other continent hence rhe need for capacity building. Human rights is fundamental and non derogable. Safety of any product makes it easier to accept and deal with. Transparency is key for end users to know there's nothing underhand.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
Recently a High Court Judge threw out a Petition because submissions were done by AI. There's urgent need for regulatory framework to govern such circumstances.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
Creating awareness and sharing of ideas. Improving what can work while discarding what cannot.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
The sun rotates around the world. Earth rates around technology. AI is fulcrum that makes it possible.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
Countries that have high acceptance rate of AI and requisite regulations to pair up with those of low acceptance and lacking in regulations to share ideas. Regulations may be staggered having regard to level of acceptance.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
Legally vulnerable groups. AI should, for example, be allowed in prison system to allow convicts who may not afford legal services to represent themselves thru technological advancement in AI.
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
Panel discussions. Plenary. Questionnaires.
Please share examples of policies, practices, platforms, or approaches that promote effective AI governance or offer concrete solutions to addressing its challenges.
In Kenya court attendance and filing of matters are online. AI if fully incorporated will enhance access to justice and affordability.
