I think these are important issues given the gap between tech industry and govts (which are also top priorities of techplomacy foundation)

Yes, AI accountability and Military Use (this is overlooked and some countries are exploiting it already ) as we don't have globally policy on this yet. let's chat.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
People are anxious, the current geopolitical crisis and american aggression is causing inflation affecting lives. global south is worried how they may face tech-enabled colonialism and they may not have tools to defend.
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
dialogue dialogue dialogue wouldn't play any role just like climate change didnt play much role. the idea is to focus on track 6 approach (track 1 + track 2 + track3) = 6 , building synergy across these and connecting results. for more info, contact me.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
i recommend techplomacy foudnation, techplomacy magazine and its upcoming project that i cant share in this form.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
i believe dialogue is important but it should translate into local regional and global actions or else it becomes waste of time for both you UN the organizer and us the participants. UN should be enabler connecting different organizations, providing technical and financial support for these participating organizations and the team, by inviting short proposals and selecting and funding them without any bias but based on merit and strength.
