In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?

Creating real outcomes action points and working groups across sectors for focus, and have more than regular annual meetings. Engage OICT and UN departments and funds and programs for wholistic approach.

From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?

  • Social, economic, ethical, cultural, linguistic and technical implications of AI

AI need guardrails for HR, for globalization, for weapons, and needs global support for international operability and equity. AI inside and development for and by the UN needs support from MS and investment in ICT and data.

UN AI, the political and linguistic and cultural implications of choosing a model Or company based on from one member state and not developing a global panel to develop independently from corporations.

How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.

Digital divide widening and inequity increasing AI surveillance. Politicians Suggestion of UBI and future where AI runs most everything.

What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?

With UN need concrete AI strategy from SG for the system. UN system needs internal investment and MS and NGO helping. The UN sit at the base where international dialogue and relations and could create and international body to create AI, cyber regulations could become a BODY or committee or agency of UN. With previous SG strategies this is quite necessary for implementation success .

What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?

Help leverage AI for UN resources and departments and help with funding and independent AI. Figure ways UN can work on AI models without capitalistic linkages and financial pressure based on UN fiscal crisis. We face the biggest budget crisis and at same time trying to implement biggest AI change of the century.

How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
