Actually all are important. 1. Safety and security are basis of trust not just on tech but on what it is impacting as outputs and as inputs and those involved with the process. Un intended consequences are key issues based on this. 2. Interoperability is important to link with what exists but also cross borders to reduce complexities at each turn. 3. Human rights is base which gives credulity of number 1, and which asks fundamental questions to for...such as inclusive and discovering value that has been missed and gaps created. 4. Social , eco, ethical, linguistic and tech implications - covers transperancy, accountability, governance of human and non human oversight and their interactions. What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
A useful contribution to this process is to focus not only on high-level principles, but on the governance conditions required during periods of technological transition, when institutions, markets, and societies must absorb AI at speed under geopolitical and economic pressure. This transition lens is especially relevant where AI intersects with financial infrastructure, health systems, digital identity, security, quantum-safe preparedness, and public trust. Proposed Contribution The proposed contribution is a policy and implementation framework on transition guardrails for ethical AI, structured around five dimensions: Sovereignty and resilience: how states and institutions preserve strategic autonomy while adopting globally networked AI systems under geopolitical and technological pressure. Trust infrastructure: how digital trust, identity, verification, and governance rules create the conditions for adoption in finance and public systems. Human impact: how AI governance should account for effects not only on efficiency, but also on psychological safety, inclusion, family well-being, education, and access to health and finance. Leadership diversity: how stronger governance emerges when women and men, senior and younger leaders, technical and human sciences perspectives, are included in system design and oversight. Sandbox-to-rollout execution: how responsible innovation requires controlled testing environments, board oversight, and pathways for scaling trustworthy systems rather than isolated pilot projects. Basis of Experience Publicly available background indicates long-standing leadership as CEO of Aker International AG, along with roles as board member, entrepreneur, mediator, strategic advisor, mentor, and speaker. Visible experience also includes participation connected to the University of St. Gallen, the Financial Demography Congress, and FIND / the Swiss-Singapore Embassy innovation pathway activities, where C Grisard Barbour is listed as an organizational committee member and publication review board member for a Singapore redesigning financial innovation initiative linked to Pathway 2035 for financial innovation. This profile is reinforced by visible engagement around the Swiss Financial Innovation Desk ecosystem and public discussion of themes including AI, digital trust, digital assets, innovation leadership, and quantum-safe readiness. Value for the UN Process This contribution would help connect ethical AI debate with implementation realities facing governments, regulators, boards, and institutions that must manage trust, security, competitiveness, and social legitimacy at the same time. It would also bring a cross-sector bridge between finance, health, governance, and infrastructure, while advancing a more plural model of leadership that treats diversity of thought as a governance strength and not a symbolic gesture. A practical output could include a roundtable or working contribution on: "Transition Guardrails for AI: sovereignty, trust, human well-being, and sandbox-to-scale execution."
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?

What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
