In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
Multiple KPIs for the Global Dialogue on AI Governance: -- High and diverse participation -- Rich and engaging discussions -- Critical agreements and official statements related to AI/AGI's potential catastrophic risks -- Development of various working groups and task forces to support global AI adoption/negotiation. This may include: AI safety; AI threat modelling; Ai and Equity, etc. In addition, the Global Dialogue, I think, should bring HOPE. Many are scared and anxious right now. Let's bring clarity, unconfuse folks and lift each-other up.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
Protection and promotion of human rights;Safe, secure and trustworthy AI

I'm not sure they need explaining. Human rights and safe AI are, well, pretty important.
How are the governance gaps and related developments/advances in the thematic areas you selected above affecting your country, region, or sector? Please highlight the most significant challenges.
It's difficult to know due to lack of transparency surrounding critical decision points, largely related to limited data collection (e.g. AI adoption and market penetration, etc.). UN may consider creating a Global Report with standardized benchmarks similar to the World Drug Report but for critical AI indicators :)
What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
Take your existing 'advancing international cooperation' recipe, and apply to AI. Simple. You got this!
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
It is essential to include private companies in the dialogue. Given recent media events, I believe they are more than willing to engage in large multi-national discussions. Also, engaging young people in the discussion is key.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.

I haven't the knowledge on global discussions to comment.
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
Great question! I believe including engagement on historical threat reduction programs (like Nuclear Bomb deterence) could help drive the message.
