In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
Call for the dialogue to be inclusive, involving Governments and relevant stakeholders, in order to create a comprehensive platform to discuss international cooperation, share best practices and lessons learned, and to facilitate open, transparent and inclusive discussions on artificial intelligence governance with a view to enabling artificial intelligence to contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and to closing the digital divides between and within countries.

What role can the AI Dialogue play in advancing international cooperation on AI governance?
The Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance can lay the foundational groundwork for continued cooperation beyond this meeting. It should create an inclusive platform for substantive exchange among Governments and relevant stakeholders on issues related to international cooperation on artificial intelligence governance. We encourage broad and constructive engagement across the different components of the Dialogue.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
The Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance should work closely and collaboratively with the Independent International Scientific Panel. Notably, we call for the work of the Panel and the Dialogue to contribute to informing and improving capacity-building efforts on artificial intelligence, and encourage the specialized agencies, funds, programmes, other entities, bodies and offices, and related organizations of the United Nations system, within their respective mandates and resources, to take into consideration the contributions of the Panel and the Dialogue in leveraging the opportunities and addressing the challenges in enhancing international cooperation on artificial intelligence capacity-building, including through using appropriate inter-agency mechanisms, conducting research, mapping and analysis, reporting on progress and challenges in this field, and leveraging their resources and expertise to provide tailored assistance.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
We welcome the proposed structure by the co-chairs which reflects the objective of supporting a meaningful and forward-looking Dialogue that can serve as an inclusive platform for substantive exchange among Governments and relevant stakeholders on issues related to international cooperation on artificial intelligence governance.
