In your opinion, what outcomes would make the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance a success?
The success of the first session of the Global Dialogue on AI Governance will be the formation of principles and a basis for further cooperation among all participants. The outcomes could include documented agreements on the mechanism for exchanging best practices, the regularity of the dialogue's work, and defining its close connection with scientific expertise and various sectors of the economy.
From your perspective, which of the following thematic areas identified by the General Assembly Resolution 79/325 for the AI Dialogue reflect your priorities for urgent action and active engagement?
- Safe, secure and trustworthy AI
- AI capacity-building
- Open-source software, open data and open AI models

Selected priorities reflect interconnected aspects of sustainable AI development. AI safety is the foundation of trust and a necessary condition for its large-scale implementation. Building up potential in the field of AI concerns both the training of new personnel (researchers, programmers, engineers) and the strengthening and reinforcement of international cooperation with the aim of conducting new research and achieving breakthrough results. The availability of data, models and open-source software will accelerate the development of artificial intelligence, reducing the time to implement solutions in various countries and economic sectors.

Among the additional questions, we can highlight the problem of the availability and cost of computing resources, as well as the problem of assessing the long-term systemic effects of AI implementation, including its impact on scientific and educational ecosystems

Global dialogue can become a platform for coordinating the efforts of various countries and organizations in the field of AI governance and development. Dialogue can also play a mediating role in the exchange of best practices, including educational initiatives and cutting-edge scientific results in the field of AI.
What are some of the existing initiatives, partnerships, or mechanisms that the AI Dialogue should build upon or connect with, and what added value could the AI Dialogue bring?
Global dialogue can be based on existing international AI initiatives, including scientific partnerships and knowledge-sharing platforms.
How can different stakeholders contribute to the AI Dialogue? Please share recommendations for the format and structure of the AI Dialogue.
Stakeholders can contribute in the form of scientific research, practical case studies, educational programs, and analytical materials. The Global Dialogue structure may include a combination of plenary sessions and thematic working groups. It is important to ensure openness and transparency of the process, including the publication of results and the opportunity for participation by a wide range of organizations.
Which voices, communities, or perspectives are currently underrepresented in global discussions on AI governance? How could they be included?
At the moment, scientific and educational organizations, as well as organizations with expertise in fields related to AI (including social and biotechnological sciences), are not sufficiently widely represented in the Global Dialogue
What innovative engagement formats could most effectively foster meaningful and dynamic engagement during the AI Dialogue?
The most effective format for cooperation is conducting joint international research in various fields.
Please share examples of policies, practices, platforms, or approaches that promote effective AI governance or offer concrete solutions to addressing its challenges.
Effective practices include government support for AI research programs and support for IT organizations.
