These priorities reflect the need to ensure that artificial intelligence contributes positively to global development while minimizing risks. Inclusive and equitable access to AI is essential to prevent the widening of the digital divide, particularly for developing countries and underrepresented communities. Ensuring fair access enables broader participation in innovation and economic growth. AI governance, ethics, and human rights protection are critical to building trust in AI systems. Clear international frameworks and responsible standards help address risks related to bias, privacy, transparency, and accountability while safeguarding fundamental rights. Capacity-building and digital skills development are necessary to empower institutions, workers, and young people to effectively use and manage AI technologies.
