Ensuring safe and trusthworthy AI is the foundation and demonstrated through consistent performance, risk mitigation and safeguards; transparency must be considered critical to operationally define responsible AI and requires human-centric standards and evaluative metrics. Promoting human rights protections must be central along with ensuring equitable access and respect for human dignity, and avoidance of bias in AI design and deployment.

As AI becomes embedded in professional workflows, understanding of how it shapes decision making, accountability and potential for over reliance. Data driven evaluation frameworks and operational governance - how to measure and validate in practice.

Governance gaps are evident and impactful within healthcare applications, especially in the US where adoption is advancing faster than standards for oversight. Additionally capacity for workplace training and AI literacy is an increasing concern.
